The Inspiration... Protein Preparation
The idea is simple - pick a protein, pick a style to go with it, and follow the preparation instructions. Proteins and preparation styles are interchangeable, so with 8 proteins and 4 preparations, there are 32 meals in all. Enjoy!

Preparation Instructions for Italian Beef
Servings: 2 servings of 4 blocks each

Ingredients Instructions
8 oz. beef
4 tomatoes, diced
2 2/3 t olive oil
fresh basil
fresh garlic
1 1/3 c whole wheat or protein enriched pasta
oregano
grated parmesan
  • spray beef with Olive Oil Pam
  • spinkle oregano on beef and broil for 3-5 minutes each side until cooked though - set aside
  • prepare pasta according to package directions
  • saute garlic over medium heat until brown
  • add basil and diced tomato and reduce for about 10 minutes
  • toss beef, pasta and sauce, sprinkle with parmesan and serve
